A final look at the market and sector impacts if the Democrats take one, if not both, chambers of Congress in the US midterms -- along with President Donald Trump's response -- led the Nov. 2 Bloomberg Intelligence Washington Policy Pulse. If Democrats do win at least the House, they will launch investigations into companies and BI's new Congressional investigation tracker suggests over 200 companies, including those in crypto, defense and technology could be at risk. We also discussed how Trump will likely move towards geopolitical events and tariffs, exposing the energy and retail sectors to volatility over the next few quarters.

The Bloomberg Intelligence Financial Policy weekly call is designed to provide investors an opportunity to learn about the most recent relevant policy research, information regarding forthcoming political catalysts and other on-goings within Washington DC.

The call is open to all and is held every Monday at 10:00 a.m. EST. You can register for the call here: https://bloomberg.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN__PqCkwY-S2m3hbQqvVC1_Q#/registration
