Welcome back to Bachelor Happy Hours Golden Hour. Thanks so much for joining us today. How are you doing, Susie?

We are so glad to be back.

And if you haven't heard our recent episodes yet, please go check them out. We've been having so much fun answering these questions.

Oh my gosh, have we ever you know the draw of your body by now? All you have to do is go to bachelornation dot com slash Golden Hour and send all your questions and comments our way.

We love hearing from you.

We absolutely do.

And speaking of Bachelornation dot com, we're having a Bachelor Nation takeover episode today. But before we bring our guests on, Kathy, we've got to talk about Jones premiere. First of all, seeing all the women last night together. We're also in California visiting friends and just seeing the bond that we created a year ago today, and if you don't mind, Kathy, I have to share the opening song brought back a lot of memories for you.

It did we The Jones show was amazing, but I have to say I was taken aback because Rainbow was played at the beginning, and that was the song that was played at my husband's funeral.

He loved that song and so.

And emotions were flowing, not only for Kathy, but just seeing all the men. And JOm did a fabulous job. I feel as if she was very reserved and careful, She had good intent. She tried to pay attention to what everyone had to say.

Yeah, she looked, she looked absolutely gorgeous. She was she proposed. I don't know, you know, for us, it's a little bit different because we were there with Joan last year. So for us watching all those guys get out of the limo, they all were so handsome. They were doing their best to impress her. You know, you and I talked about we could feel that there was some nerves with the guy.

I mean, remember how it was for us watching them and feeling that nervousness and that one one particular guy was it Jordan. I believe he kept thinking he messed up on his first down, and he did it.

He did that at all. He's adorable.

I was really taken back, and I was very impressed on how these men showed emotion when the children about what is coming on?

Okay, So that for me was the biggest standout of the show because we're at an age, you know, we're not twenty and thirty somethings, and so well we date. It's not like, hey, let's just go. We have children, we have grandchildren. So bringing the guy's children on TV and wishing their dads well on this journey.

To me and the tears show us all the tears. It will, but it'll show about to our nation. We're not just dating.

We have families, we have grandkids, and it all matters. So I thought that really gave a good perspective of what it's like to date in our golden years.

Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely, And so what.

Was one of your favorite moments? That's what I want to know.

I want I'm seeing the the men cry. I mean that that guy spoke.

To me, guy teared up. I mean.

You can't fake that, you just can't. You can't make this stuff. And you know, I was very impressed. I can't wait till next week.

Oh who was the guy, Susan. It's either Keith or Jack. You know, Keith got the first impression role.

He made her feel so comfortable.

Kind yeah, she said she felt safe for them, and he was the guy that came in with the car.

Right, is that yes. When he pulled up with the luggage on top of the old station wagon, I was like, what and then what did you think?

What did you think about our Frenchman? Who asked Joe? She he loved to just pick up and go to France, go to Paris for then?

You know, before when we saw the view of the guys in the introduction, prior to the show, I didn't know it was all about the Frenchman. But last night I thought he did a great job, a little show. He was showing that he had some money and he likes to buy nice things. He dresses the part that's all about being in hair because okay, I understand that.

I gotta I gotta say so. Susan and I are here together watching this together. Are hands up in the air?

Do you want to go to Paris? Hell ya? I'm in.

But one of the things I loved was Jordan. Can we just talk about not Jordan, sorry, Jonathan, I mean Jonathan. Jonathan walks in in a blindfold, and I'm thinking, Joan, when you see this guy, like when he sees her, he's gonna die. He's so handsome.

I loved it. I loved the blind Fulton.

So I love many of them, yes, and I hated the fact that the routh Sarah. I know what she was going through. I remember Gary going through this. Letting people go is the hardest part. Wait, I give Joan kudos. Great job, you look beautiful, You did well. Wait, I have one more question here for you. What happened to our guy from Austin, Texas. You know what happened. He didn't button his shirt and he got sent home. That's what happened. But so many great guys. She's got so many great guys yes, to choose from, and we are just wishing her the very best. Real quick, Kathy, remember when we both looked at each other and felt like, oh my gosh, it was a year ago and we were a part of this, you know, like we are Bachelor Nation people for the rest of our lives.

You're not getting rid of us.

And while you're saying that, Susan, just remember Joan can only choose one.

That's right.

We need phone numbers for leftovers. All right, all right, let's get into the today's episode. Our guest today is Danny Gollin. She's our Bachelor Nation expert.

And she's the magic behind Bachelornation dot com. We love you, Danny. We can't wait to talk Hi.

She can tell everybody how to get on too.

Yes, bachelornation dot com is where I live, where I breathe.

It's the best. Have you guys checked out the website lately? I hope so.

Us want to check it out regularly. Oh, I follow you, Danny. I love your work.

Oh thank you. Yeah.

Bachelornation dot com is like the one stop shop for Bachelor Nation fans. We have exclusive interviews, we have all the latest Bachelor Nation news. I've interviewed you both actually for the website on different occasions about different fun things. Kathy and I did an amazing Pride interview Susan, I have done so many interviews. We had some fun, we had some fun, and we have like all the podcasts are up on there as well. You can also apply to be on the show, or apply to be in the audience as well, or sign up to be in those emails, which you've also both sat in the audience, which is so fun.

Yes, yes, we've done it all with you.

Get any How have you been, Danny?

You have You're you're so busy? What else is going on? In your life anything you want to talk about.

No, you know, dispatination and yeah, making it, making a human life, but you know, yes.

Making your life. That's it takes a little bit of time. Well, great, we are uh ready to move and we're going to get started here with Danny.

But lay Kathy, Danny's going to be putting us in the hot seat.

Idea.

What she's going to ask us this?

I was since when I was trying to slide by that, thinking if we didn't say it, it wouldn't happen.

Oh boy should Why.

You know? Is there ever a time when I'm going to say no to that? Ever? All right, let's what do you say we do the question of the day?

I say, that's a good idea.

All right?

What do you think makes someone a good lead on the Bachelor shows?

Danny? That question was for you, Well, it's for all of us.

Isn't it.

Oh? Yes, I've watched so.

I mean all of the seasons pretty much.

At this point, I feel like what makes someone a really great lead on one of our Bachelor Nation shows is their ability to just be present and be in the moment and kind of ignore the noise that happens around them. I feel like it is something that happens so fast, but when you're like take a second to slow down and be intentional, it's.

Like you can really see that it really comes through.

And when I say like tuning out the noise, I also mean like after the show too. We've all seen like how social media plays a role in all of this, but like it's really about.

You and that person after the show.

And so I love when like a good lead it just feels confident in their decision and seems really grounded. And yeah, that's kind of like and I've seen so so many of them over the years, Like I've I've loved getting to like witness them just come into themselves and it's really fun to watch.

What do you guys think?

I happen to agree with you and to definitely be open because you're there for a reason and just be you authentically you and give everybody a minute a chance to get to know people.

But what makes one a better lead than the other?

Yeah, there's so many good Yeah I don't I don't.

I don't think that there's like I mean, everyone has like their favorites, right, you know, it just says, okay, the show people love to watch, but I feel like, yeah, just finding that like openness and being able to really lean into the process. I feel like, both as a lead and as a cast member, you can really tell when people lean in, you know, and feel like and you can also tell when people don't and when they're like resisting the process. And so I feel like it's really fun when you see people just kind of like surrender and that's usually the relationships that end up working out in my.

Mind, and a sense of humor, like, yeah, I have.

A lot, you know, I don't know, I feel like I agree with most of what you're saying. But I also think people have to be able to identify with the leads. So, you know, the Bachelor Nation people watching, it has to be someone that they feel has warmth to them and depth to them. And and I'm and I actually believe it has to be someone who is appealing to the eye. Has to be you know, physically attractive. I mean those all sound superficial, but I think that's that's part of it. Because as as an audience member, you know, I've now been on both. I haven't been a lead, but I was on the show, and you know, now I look and I imagine what that would have been like. You know, what is it like to have all those men to date at one time? And I think you want to. I think it's hard in that moment always be yourself and as you said, Danny, tune out the noise. I mean that it's it's it's a lot to do, and I think you have to take it seriously, but you also want to have fun with it.

It's it's a real mix.

I think it is what part what part of what we said do you not agree with? Because you said I agree with most of what you said, what do you not agree?

There was something that you don't Honestly, I'd have to go back and list it with something I was trying not to interrupt for a change. There was something you said at the beginning, Susan that I was like, I'm not sure I go with that. Nothing huge, I do think so, yeah, I honestly I can't remember. It was just a detail. But I do think being yourself for me, as we've talked many times, you and I, Susan, are only ourselves. It's it's the only thing we know how to be. It's all we can be. So when you ask what makes a good lead. It almost sounds redundant to me to say be yourself, because what else are you going to be?

I mean, yeah, I feel like something that you both said was about being relatable but then also dating all these people at the same time. It's like it could be relatable in the most unrelatable situation.

Yes, which is so difficult.

So yeah, it is definitely not something that is easy. It's not something that I've ever done. It's not something I could do. So I give a lot of credit to all of the leads.

I've always felt for the lead when they get down to two or three, three, I mean I truly believe you they have feelings for each and every one of them. And how you have to decipher between them, I mean that's a lot.

That's really serious.

Yeah, it's a lot of pressure, and at that point you've obviously met their families and stuff and be really invested.

And yeah, it's not an easy task. That's why not everybody does it.

You know, well, I'll kay have another one. I think Kathy and I are available together.

We could do it together.

Have you seen anybody with that big of a personality on it, though?

Have you? Dan?

Yeah?

I mean, I feel like it's it often does become like about the rest of the cast too, though, you know, there's only so much time that we get to see you guys, know that, you know, like.

This is weeks and weeks of filming and we see a couple hours of it every week.

But yeah, I mean, I think that the leads often and similar to the cast members, you only get to see such a small part of their personality on screen, and we get to like know them more sometimes on podcasts like this.

So I also think though, I also think though, that the leads have to when we talk about being relatable. I think people do things on the show that even they look back and go, oh, maybe I shouldn't have done that. And I think that's what makes certain leads more favorites than others, you know, they and that's just human nature. So I think everything we're saying is true. But I think sometimes the leads get themselves in situations and were, as the audience, pretty quick to judge. And yet if we were doing it, you know, you don't understand.

It's much easier to be behind a keyboard watching it on your couch than doing it yourself.

So all right, Danny, we're gonna hand this off to you now.

It's for us today.

Okay, So I have compiled some questions doing some deep digging. I'm not going to tell you where I found these questions, where I got these fun facts about you guys.

But.

Yeah, I'm going to all do it back and forth. Like I said, we've done this before with Joe and Serena, and they were both.

Like, how did you find it? Did you call my mom? Like, oh, so we're gonna just them ask some fun questions.

Did you tell her things about me?

No?

No, you promised.

I'm not shaking.

I just you know, you guys have been doing this podcast for a while. You've both done so many interviews. I just wanted to ask you some things that you've never been asked before, you know, Like I feel like sometimes you get asked the same questions.

I can promise you you haven't been asked about this.

Okay, one thing you do know, I suck at that one game. Kathy.

Wait, the question question is going to be who's the worst person on the face of the planet?

Moral quandary Susan.

Susan, all right, I have a question for Kathy.

First, perfect I'm going over the edge first here great, okay.

Can you tell us about the time that you locked yourself out of an airbnb and went through people's backyards.

To get out?

What I need the T I need the t.

Okay, I don't know now I would spend the rest of my life. Okay. So my sister and.

I went to London last year to visit my niece, her daughter, and we stayed in airbnb in central London, and it was it was a lovely airbnb, but as windows and doors they closed, and in this particular BnB, they forgot to tell us take a key with you whenever you walk out, because the door slams shut and you're screwed. And so this was very late at night, and my sister and I were like, how are we going to get back? And we of course didn't know anyone. We tried calling the landlord didn't answer, so we didn't know what to do. So it was like a big courtyard in the middle, so we hopped a fence, maybe popped into someone's porch kind of. I climbed up on the fence and jumped over into the courtyard and my sister came with us. I was really afraid because we were going through people's like their back patios in their courtyard, and we went through and the back door we had luckily opened it that one did not get locked. And so it was an hour and a half of pure fear. It was very early in the morning, like twelve thirty one in the morning. I definitely want to know, Danny laughing so hard beat my pans. So we were little scared being locked out. And now, Danny, how that hell did you find that out?

Maybe I knew some of the neighbors.

You know, great somebody's old security footage.

It was really I'm time you had seen me climbing up over my sisters, like, you can't get up there?

I said, watch this. Oh yes, I can give.

You a boose.

Now are you kidding me?

Strong?

I just I just climbed up twelve pounds.

Seriously.

Okay, that is a great story. See I told you you haven't been asked that before.

Wow, it's true. Good breaking an entery, it's breaking an enery. Yes I did.

It was your airbnb.

To be fair, you just had to get there trespass.

Maybe, Susan, I want you to tell us a story about meeting.

I believe it's your ex husband, not an overnight flight while you were a flight attendant.

That's true.

I didn't meet him on the flight, Okay.

I was a flight attendant, yes, And I was with a bunch of flight attendants and my ex husband's team was in town.

We had a thirty six hour layover.

In a boring city, and I'm looking at the flight attents, going, oh, great, what are we going to do here?

And she goes, oh, the Cubs are in town.

I go and that means and they said, we know all that one of the girls used to be the Phillies ball girl, blah blah.

Blah blah blah he had for the Cubs.

Well, he was with the Phillies. She knew him.

So it was actually on a dare. He's going to kill me for saying this too. Maybe I shouldn't say, yeah, I have.

It's never stopped you before.

So if any of.

You guys.

From nineteen eighty what was it eighty one they had I never met any of these people.

And they said, oh, she'll do it. She'll do it. Go up and knock on his door and act like you're a groupie and just wish him well because he was a starting picture that day and I did. He's like, wow, come in, so I leave.

He asked me to stay, and I leave, and you could hear Dicky call in all the rooms there there was.

An angel in this room. There was this beautiful girl and they're like yeah right, yeah, right. Well they left us tickets for the game and he was warming up and there I was up in the stands and he's looking at me like that was you.

The angel has arrived.

I just want you to know I've never heard this story.

We went to a nightclub after the game called Heaven, and that's when we started chatting.

Oh see you look, you're learning about each other.

That's our story. Yeah, great, kid me, But it was all true.

Yeah.

I just want to point out here I'm breaking and entering trespassing and Susan is coming from Heaven.

Perfect. I'm just keep coming.

As they were asking you, Kathy, things are going through my mind like they wouldn't know that.

Oh gosh.

Now I'm like I need to do more things I'll never tell.

Okay, all right, Kathy, your turn.

I want about this time you were thrown off a horse. You don't like horseback riding, where you like bucked off? A horse thrown off a horse?

What happened here?

So I'm gonna I know this came from Kyle. I'm gonna kill him. We were in Colorado and we were My kids all loved to horseback ride. I have a deathly fear of horses. Don't like him, don't want to be near him anything. So we're riding and they put me on this horse and I told them I'm scared of horses, and they said, oh, you know, you'll be fine. I was fine for about oh five minutes, and that horse like it's like, you know, the horse kind of turned around and looked at me and it was basically saying screw you, and he put his head down and just kind of went, oh, sense it. I'm telling I was like just shaking on that horse, and he threw me off and he kind of he didn't like buck me. He's sort of like turned and bent down, so and there was no way I could stay on, and I just, oh yeah, my kids were dying laughter. I said, I went bananas. I said, I'm never ever riding horse again. And the truth is they made me do it on a trip like two years later, and that horse took off running You would have died laughing. I was holding on for dear life, running back to the stable. I will never get on a horse sometime. No, no, I talked to Faith about it. I will never get Oh no, I will never get on a horse ever. In fact, Gary and I've talked about it. He doesn't like horses either. I will never get on a horse again. Done over, So you.

Didn't get the horseback riding bachelor date because that's.

Something, you know what? I would have a sudden case of the flu if that happened.

There goes Kathy's one on one horses.

I'm sorry.

I'm not available to ride horses today, but I am available for a yacht cruise, or a helicopter ride, or a you know, anything jumping.

On, even like the four wheeler.

I would take anything over a horse. I'm afraid to go to uh what's it called uh uh diving with an air tank on you? What's it called scuba dive? I would scuba dive before I get on a horse again.

Wow, okay, I noted.

We will not be sending that downs all.

Right, Susan? Are you back to you? You're an amazing gift giver.

I think we all know that I've been lucky enough to be on the receiving end of a gift from you, which is just so glorious. Can you tell us about the time you took someone to Greece for their birthday?

Yes? Again?

Was that a surprise gift? Like I need to know?

It was part part?

His birthday was the day after Christmas?

Oh okay, so it was a combination gift, Christmas and birthday.

Were we dating this person?

Yes, yes we were, and I really wanted to go, and that friend was on the frugal side, and I knew he'd never splurreg so I bought him a gift.

Went and how did you present that? Did you just like hand over the tickets?

Oh?

No, no, no, it was like box after box after box, and there were hints and you know, I like to torture people. And then there was a picture of Grease, you know that the famous picture with the bells and the water and all the white. And he goes, what is this and I said, well that's part one. Part two is your birthday present.

And then there were the tickets.

Oh wow, So did you go like that night?

No, no, no, no, it was.

It was planned so like he had time to pack a bag like it wasn't like we're going right now?

Great trip? Are you surprise?

Tell I should have been a dude. I know how to treat a lady. I know how I like to be treated. No one has ever surprised me.

Well, there's no one stopping you from chicks from batting for the other team, but.

Just to be surprised eyes, Yeah, I got a lot out of that. It felt good for me to give that because of the look on their face.

Are you feeling the need to give again?

Because I'm available for that trip.

That's an amazing gift.

I did it to my husband as well. It was Paris.

Oh Paris.

Wow, you got the European passport checks like that is really cool. Well, someone, I think this is a hinge for anybody out there who's going to date Susan. You need to surprise her with a trip somewhat amazing and incredible that she's never been before.

So I don't care if you surprised me with the Airbnb and my.

Cat has top the fence to get into No, let me.

Let me just paint a very clear picture.

Susan is gonna some dude's gonna reach out to her and say, hey, baby, let me take you to Greece and to Paris. I'm going to get some guy that's gonna hold me up at knife point, make me jump hedges, and then say you're not done yet, Let's go for a horse ride.

I can hardly wear. That's what's in my future. Her.

I think I watched too many movies. I'm a hopeless romantic.

I know. I think it's beautiful. I love it. I say never, never let that go. I know.

Yeah, romantic.

Okay, Well back to U Kathy, speaking speaking of trips.

Speaking of speaking of trips, I need to hear about your five day trek to Machu Pichu and when did you do that?

So this is a good story.

As you know, I'm a big hiker, big walker, and my daughter was living in Peru, had gone to live there with a boyfriend who's not not her husband, a different kui and uh we my husband and I decided to meet them in Peru and hike Machu Picchu. And for anyone who has done this hike, it is not for the faint of heart. It is it is a three day, three nights in a tent trek.

And yeah, me too.

Oh, the food is delicious. They cook all your meals. They do have people. You used to be able to go and hike it on your own. Now you have to go with, you know, on plan trips, and they have people that carry your uh, you know, your backpack. You're very limited to what you can bring on it. So we did it, and I carry it. I love camping. I slept in a tent, we had fires, we had they made the best food and I but I will tell you, and you'll probably not hear this from anyone else, the hike too Much of Piachu. That everyone's seen the picture of where you're standing up and you're looking down into the city of Mancha Piachu. That's the end of the track for me. That that's when you get to the gate and you go through. Then you go down and you look down into much Peachu and you walked among the ruins and all. For me, it was the track getting to much Peachu was extraordinary. It was it was the best pig I've ever done. It was great fun.

Was it a challenge? Was it heart?

No?

The first day, my you know, I was fit. Uh, you're the altitude.

You you fly into Cusco and you stay in Cusco for a few days to acclimate, and then you actually go down before you go up, and then you end up down uh elevation. The first day I had a little bit of trouble breathing. My legs were fine, but they said they had all these oxygen tanks.

And I'm like, oh, dear.

God, I love it that you were surrounded by people doing things for you, cooking for you.

That's amazing.

That sounds.

Well, you can't do it, That's what I'm saying. Don't. I'm not spoiled. You can't do it on your own anymore.

It's a it's a you know, a World Preservation Heritage site whatever, so you have to.

But yeah, the food was delicious. I mean it was. It truly was a trip of a lifetime. I loved it.

That sounds How did you find that out?

Just the internet?

Friends, family, family, family, and I'll never let my sources.

I listen.

So far, you haven't embarrassed me. There's things that my family could have told you that I would die.

I'm not in the business of embarrassing anyone.

I'm just trying to get more information out of you guys, learning new things. Speaking of which, Susan, when did you learn to ride a motorcycle?

And what made you want to learn? Like that is so cool?

Yeah, it was so cool.

So my dad rode when I was a kid, and when I was a young adult, my boyfriends had them. And I went on yet another truth to Ibitha, a little island off of Spain and my boyfriend at the time, and I rent it Vestmas for ten days.

Well, I thought I was evil canievil. I was like, oh my god, this is awesome.

And I love them to have a space where you could lock your helmet in and keep your handbag.

We went freeways, back roads, all lot.

We used different beaches, fifty I was fifty, and I fell in love with.

The whole thing.

So when I got back, and you have to know me, is to know I'm a good driver. I like fast cars. You know, I've always been the designated driver. I prefer to drive myself no matter where. So now I'm in control of a motorcycle. So I came home and within the first two weeks I signed up for motorcycle lessons for the course a motorbike.

Yeah, and I had a half a bank.

No, I sold it when I tore my rotator. I had to sell it.

And I also have a motorcycle license?

You do?

I do? Yeah? And I also got I got mine when I was fifty.

Wow, and I finished gap.

I'm still telling my story.

I'm curious in a rock bike. What kind of bike you had? Something to ride like a Harley an injury?

I wanted a Harley.

It was a Yamaha be star cool, big.

Picture.

I want to see a picture. I want a picture of both of you now on the like, may you guys need to cat the other?

You have your motorcycle license?

Did you do you ride? Did you I did? I never had a bike. I rode. My sister that was in Canada had one.

I rode ud like a.

Big or a sport bike or a no no no, it was a two wheeler. But it was not a tricycle as they call them. No, I said a sport No, it was not a crows rocket. No it was it was not I and I gotta be honest. I did not love riding, but that that had to do with a friend of mine.

There's her picture.

Oh that's gorgeous.

Look at that bike.

Wow?

Do you miss it?

Yeah? Yeah?

Would you get back on again?

Yes, I would.

Yeah, even though with the rotator cup, I imagine like you yeah, right.

All the time, I wouldn't do anything tricky, you know, and I wouldn't ride again.

You wouldn't, Okay. I have friends motorcycles, evidently for Kathy.

I had a friend who lost their life, you know.

And I just really scary and dangerous.

I understand.

My dad and my grandpa both have or had Harley road Kings, and so I wow, motorcycle family too. My grandpa had a really bad fall and so after that he stopped. My dad has had one bad fall, but he uh still rides sometimes.

Okay, I like a soft tail.

It always makes me hold my breath when I know they're out there, but you know, but he loves it, so all right.

I rode one time for kids with brain cancer. Oh you rode them all by myself. And I was so nervous and I joined these people.

It was like a big thing.

It was, I guess, about forty five minutes away and my bike didn't have GPS. I had, you know, printed out directions, and I was so nervous. And I'm great on a highway, but there was miles of bikes and when we go down the one hindy roads that that's the best part of a bike, taking the back roads. But when I'm driving, I would break before I got there because I was.

So afraid of you know, you just lean into it. And the guy behind me said, why are you not comfortable on the turns? I said, you could tell these you're doing?

Oh, you can tell when somebody It's like me on a horse, Susan, it's very obvious when somebody's not comfortable.

But the windy roads are the best. Actually, by the Bachelor.

Mansion is like one of the best right there.

Yeah, that's one of the best motorcycles.

My dad loves it absolutely.

Yeah, all right, I have one more for you, Kathy, one more for Susan as well. But Kathy, what is the highest you've won playing blackjack in Vegas?

And did you keep it or did you end up losing it?

So gamble my Okay, this is like Tahoe, girlfriend, I got a free trip. You're coming.

I My dad was a big gambler. I love to go to Vegas and so I but I don't remember losing a lot. I honestly think the most I've ever won was a couple hundred bucks, because I gotta be honest with you. When you see a chip, you know, and it's a ten dollars table or you're at a twenty five dollars table, I'm just like, I see the money there, I don't see the chip. So I how to gamble? I know the rules of blackjack. Drives me nuts when I see people, you know, doubling down on sevens, I mean, it's like, what are you doing?

But yeah, I've not.

I mean not ret and you shoot crabs caathy, Yeah, it's called throwing dice.

Anybody can shoot crabs, but you know the game enough to do it. But I'm not, you know, I'd rather talk.

Wait a minute.

Uh my kids have taught me poker. I don't. It's not my it's not my favorite.

All I want to say here is Susan, you're going to take me to gamble, but you took these creepy guys that you're no longer with.

Taking you to Lake Tom to do it.

I've been beautiful.

I went, you want to go to Monte Carlo.

There you go. Now we're talking. I know I get you there.

I want to hear this story.

This is my last one for you about how the person doing work on your house ended up becoming one of your best friends.

Oh my god, Darryl, he's still here.

It was just here last week.

Oh I want to hear about dave.

Story. We need to know.

So, yeah, somebody recommended him. When I first moved here, got thirty some years ago, and.

Poor Daryl everything. My Dicky was a major league baseball player. He was not handy. When I lost my dad, who was so handy. Darryl filled those shoes. He's rebuilt this house one hundred times.

Can I just tell you I've met the guy.

When I'm calling Susan, She'll be going, good morning, Darryl. She's out there in her pajamas, you know, waving at him. There chit chatting like he's a member of her family. At this point he is.

He's like my brother.

Well I got to marry He met a woman and I married them.

So now Jeannie is part of my family too. I didn't ever want her to feel uncomored. I mean, he's like my buddy. My kids for a time are like, Mom, you're.

Flirting with him.

I got no flirting with Daryl.

He's this big, he's adorable, shaved head. I love this man like he was family. But he'll never leave me ever. You guys are best now because he still has to.

Work every time, every time Susan does some people with the house shall go, I got it.

I gotta go on.

Darryl's coming. I got it, called Darryl Darrel's coming. It's like, truly he is dear me.

People come into your even like the most unexpected ways, and so that's such a beautiful story of how like you guys are now.

Could you send them to me. I've got to back up sink in my bathroom. Could I old Daryl come up?

Fly aback? That would be Anthony. He was the plumber in my life.

It sounds like he's got a lot of things to build right now.

Darryl, he just redid my basement again. He did that three times, and he just put a brand new deck.

On for me.

Okay, amazing. That wasn't so scary those questions.

Oh, trust me, it could have been a lot worse for me.

I got things we don't know.

My kids know.

My kids know something I really thought. As soon as I heard, I thought, oh I'm dead my kids to.

Share, I mean, clearly want to talk about it.

No I would. I would die.

I mean truly, I've done some embarrassing things that my kids.

Where you ever asked, what's the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?

I'm asking me.

Yeah, what do you ask You're asking me to tell you the most embarrassing thing, Susan, I love you.

You're going to do it?

Not even on our friendship? Am I going to do that?

No?

I would, Yeah, I'm sure you would.

No, Danny, how about you?

I am one of those weird people, were like, I don't get super embarrassed, Like I just I roll with the punches, you know what I mean, and like, there's nothing that's what it is, nothing that really embarrasses me too bad. I've always been whenever anyone asked me what my most embarrassing moment is, I'm like, probably something that happened like yesterday and I'm over it.

By today, you know. But yeah, we'll have to do it. We'll cly have to do a part two of this then, where I do some more digging.

We'll circle back in a couple of months when I can get back to my sources, you.

Know, But especially being held at gunpoint, that's all I'm.

Going to give you Oh my god, I don't even want to hear that one. I don't know Mexican border.

Oh my god, Susan.

It's a good story.

It sounds like we'll circle back in part two on that story. But we're not done here today. So I had you guys answer some questions. We're gonna play a version of the Newlywed Game, but best the edition, okay, with Kathy and Susan.

Susan the little moral quandary coded. Okay, So.

Wait, Danny, I'm just gonna tell you give her the prompt, repeat it, repeat it again.

We're gonna I asked you a series of questions. Now you're gonna guess the other person's answer.

Okay, it's the hard part. Question break.

But we're going to start with Kathy. Who did Susan say is her celebrity crush?

Oh? Bradley Cooper? Is that right? Yes? Yeah? Because she met him?

That was easy, all right, Now, Susan, who did Cathy say it's her celebrity crush?

You could just take a guess.

We've actually talked about this. I know we have that.

My brain's not remember she actually members the conversation.

Yeah, she actually does know gc is hers initials.

Those are some that's a big clue.

He Okay, how about this, he's married to a beautiful, skinny woman with dark hair.

Yeah, really, come on say it, George.

That's right. You should have said this, gray spiked hear.

Yeah, there we go, Like we said one, but we got a few answers. What's one thing that Susan can't live without? So if you get one of the food?

What kind of food? Italian food, pizza in steak?

There they are.

Come on, I'm doing pretty well. And she wins quandary.

All right, And and Susan, what's one thing Kathy candleb without tequila?

Listen, bitch, are you serious.

Her family?

Yeah? There you go, that's the answer. Okay, so you knew it. We just got a little fun on the side.

She likes to tequila might be a close second.

Close second, and maybe a family brings the tequila.

Yeah that's true, okay, or vodka or white whatever.

All right, Kathy?

What color does Susan think that she looks best at hot pink?

Yeah, that's one of the answers. Yeah, that's one of the ones.

I know.

There what else? What else?

What other ones?

Black poke black and white, polkont we.

Have black on?

What is my favorite summer color?

White? You like pink? Hot pink? Oh? You all love yellow? You love she loves orange?

Orange on? There.

I know when I answered the questions, did they want one answer? I couldn't do it. I couldn't pick a.

Couple of them. I had to write more than one answer.

Kathy's favorite is blue?

Yes, didn't even have asked the question.

I know.

I'll tell you you're doing, Susan, no more moral quantitie. We're gonna plus start playing this game.

You guys are really kind of tied up right now.

All right, Kathy, if if Susan could pick your next vacation, where would it be?

Well, we're going to Saint Martin, so that's what. Oh uh if she could pay, it's somewhere in Europe?

Uh where probably Italy?

Yes, all right, and Susan, what about you have Kathy to pick your next vacation Italy?

And she said she's she did spill the beans a little.

Already, I did. She listened.

I misunderstood the question. I thought it was where is your next Yeah, okay.

We're gonna both We're gonna put our drama hats on really quick.

What did Susan say your biggest fight was about me?

Interrupting? Is that right?

Yes?

And try to tell me what to do?

Yeah?

What did Kathy say?

She was sorry? And then she loves me, but she.

Knows more than she's guy, she's struggling.

What's your what's your answer to the same question? What did Kathy say your biggest fight was about me?

Yeah?

I supposed to be thinking about you.

Were doing so well, Susan, you were doing so well?

Same question?

So, like, what did Kathy say that your guys biggest fight was.

About We don't really fight. I don't remember what I wrote, but Susan, I don't remember what I wrote.

My same thing, So I mean the interrupting and.

Oh yeah, because you do interrupt me, I think I wrote. She doesn't. If I don't.

Interrupt you, I never have a chance to talk. Okay, I'm learning from the best. We'll talk later, Missy.

All right, we know each other a little bit, so I have a forgetful I did forget George Clooney.

Yeah, she forgot. She knew it was George Clooney. She just forgot.

I forgot.

That's okay. We we were just warming up because we do.

We do this. We sit down and ask questions to each other and how we think about that. Sometimes we're on opposite ends of the spectrum.

But you know, scary season, it's not as much as it used to be.

You've seen the light. You say that you've seen the light. You are on my side much more of the time.

Now, I'm gonna get Kathy to make out in the backseat of a car before you.

Okay, now with you, I'm not No, that's not what I was saying.

Flora and Danny over here.

Yeah, I'm just having I'll just sit back. You guys want to take over again.

Susan gives me a hard time because on the show, you know, I have not had sex upside down in the cockpit of an airplane.

I'm sorry, upside down. That's your exaggerator. You haven't made out and got felt up in the car.

I did too, it was in the front seat, but apparently Susan has an issue with getting felt up and making out. It has to be in the backseat or it doesn't count. Was a broad back seat again, you were talking about me. You said I've never done that. Oh my god, Susan you have made up felt up on.

Every cock see ice cream so bad that day on the show, she got none until she say.

Maybe you should have a podcast together or something, you know, someone to talk about.

Give us anyway? What's out world?

Yeah? Watch out all right? Next one to Kathy, what is Susan's biggest fear?

You know what?

I don't even remember. Uh, let's see what is her biggest fear? I would say. I don't want to say getting old, because I don't think that's your biggest fear.

Uh? What are you doing being alone? Maybe? I don't know. Wait, I know that's right. I didn't know.

You don't like Nancy does like sharks either? Get these two to go in the water is ridiculous, like shorts.

No, I did not. I did not know you're afraid of snakes.

You wouldn't have liked the date on Gen season then where they had to get the big snake put on them.

I don't know if it's a you know, can I just tell you my husband would not go into the reptile house at the zoo. That's how afraid he was a snakes and so and by the way, next time you're talking to sweet little Kyle, that son of mine who dishes you out info. He's scared to death of snakes.

I'm sending him one of them.

Are you afraid of snakes?

So I'm not, but my husband hates them.

Yeah. I dated a guy once who had snakes, like pet snakes, and he kept them in his bathtub.

And I didn't like that because there was no like live and I was like, I.

Wait over, my friend, feed them the mice.

Danny, you dated a guy with us snakes in his bathtub, Susan, Can we say, Susan, can we say in Unison red flag?

It was? It was a red flag. Yeah, that's not my husband.

Because he Joyce. I told you I'm a big hiker. I've told you that.

And I have hiked in big Ben National Park, which is in Texas. I have I have crossed paths with rattlesnakes twice.

In big Ben.

Bears scare me too, Bears, anything that I can't get away from.

Okay, turning the table is Susan. What is Kathy's biggest fear?

She has no fear.

I don't remember what I wrote fearless horses.

She wrote, I'm not really a fearful person, but going bald, what.

I can hook you up. Don't ever worry about that. I got you.

I don't want to go bald. She is fearless. I don't have a lot of fears though it's true.

Well yeah, but I don't sit down.

I don't even get the horses.

All right, We got a couple more, Kathy. What dog breed does Susan think she'd be if she were a dog?

To me, there's only one dog breed she could be if she were a dog. It's pretty one.

It's well, actually there's two dogs. You're gonna laugh.

One would be a poodle because Susan I'll tell you why. Susan is a neat freak and poodles don't. So you know, she have to be a poodle or one of those I don't know what they're, those little miniature things that have hair down to the ground and they have little pink bows on their head.

Weltese.

That's why chap past a few years a multi whatever.

I don't know what that was, like cockapoo, pikapoos, those little Pekinese things with the you know, with the hair that they they swore around her.

Susan, you wrote golden doodle, so you were.

Like the gold see and she my mom used.

To they don't shed though golden.

Doodles, Susan.

That's why, Susan, I have to break the news to you, Darry a golden doodle.

It's not just like a box chelf. What she likes a.

Boxer, Yes, that's what she wrote.

I love boxers.

But that's but she knows that because I grew up with boxers. Well, she well, because we had this conversation with but I love Do you know why I love boxers?

I put kittie cats now and her cats. I don't like cats, not even a little bit. And I've been to her house. You don't even know they're there unless they whine in the morning to eat. But they don't bother the.

Wait, can I tell you no hair in her house either.

I vacuum regularly.

I like boxers because they are You don't know why, Susan, but you're.

Right about it.

Told me they're very smart.

They are smart. But there what I wrote down was they're loyal. And there's the thing I wrote, loyal and strong, strong, strong and protective. Yeah, and I grew up with them. And my daughter has one and he loves me at six point thirty this morning.

A lot.

That's what I hate about them.

They're great dogs that I do have boxes. Okay, I have one more for each of you. Obviously you're the same question, Kathy. What does Susan think her best physical quality is?

And Susan, what does Kathy.

Think her best So you're answering, like for what you think the person.

I think Susan will say her best quality either it's between her eyes and her teeth.

No, she didn't.

My smile and my boobs.

I was gonna say, your boobs, but since you're having some surgery downe, I figured.

They're not your we're going to talk about that.

Yeah, she's she's Wait a minute, your boobs. I was going to say that. And what's the other one?

You said?

My smile?

Well that's your teeth. No, that's what I met.

Star teeth and plants. I had to buy them.

But Susan, what did Kathy say.

Her brain? Her physical what do you see?

My brain? Is my brain hanging out? Good lord? Woman? Can you play the same I'm not going to.

I think I think Susan, if you put ten people in a room, wait a minute, you put ten people in a room and ask them for a physical, physical attribute. They are not going to say brains because you can't see them.

Just say, what do you say your boobs?

You wrote your smile as well.

I wrote my smile smile.

I mean you both have such gorgeous smiles. That makes sense. Those are my favorites for both of these.

They make me have lines around my eyes.

I feel that's a good thing. That means that you've been smiling a lot.

Yeah, it means I need more boat talks and that I need to put the side of my face and a vice.

That is the game. That is the game.

Okay, wait, can.

I tell you Kathy's coming here in a couple of weeks. Yes, and now I'm gonna take her to my guys. He's gonna do my hair and yes I am.

But we're gonna go have a little consultation and we may be going into surgery together.

Fun which do a little lift things.

No, no, no me. They're gonna do a lift on her. They're gonna reduction end lift.

We talked about this with Rachel Rekia on the podcast. I believe. So now when I say we, I mean you I just get to listen.

But December, But can I just say I've already had one breast production done, and I think this is a really cruel joke that they grow back.

I know, well, I've always wanted one.

I've always wanted a breast reduction, and now that I know they grow back, I'm kind of like, what's the point.

But it takes years.

Oh, it takes years. I had my breast reduction done and mine did go back to the full deal. And I don't really want to be smaller than him. I just don't want to. I want to be able to. Yeah, I want to be you know, I want to. I want them up where my chin.

Is right now. I am in a lot of pain on that front.

So I definitely feel way your milk comes in, sister.

Yeah, I'm going to be like, I need a restroduction yesterday.

But I figured I would wait until after kids, and when you're all done kids.

Yeah, yeah, no, literally, my daughter uh has well endowed. Let's just say that. And after Susan, I trit to tell you this. She was the other day. I was over there and she was trying on clothes and and she's very thin. I mean, she's much thinner now than before she got pregnant and she looks great. Uh, but she goes, God, Mom, look at my boots. They're just like completely. I said, oh, honey, that's just the beginning of for children. Do to your body, right, it's just unreal.

I have a lot to look forward to. Then, well, this was so fun. Thank you guys for having me.

Thank you.

I pressed the button by accident. Kathy, do you remember the story I told you the first time I went and I went to the plastic surgeon and he said, Susan, what can I do for you? I said, doctor, I don't mind if I failed the pencil test, but I don't want to hold the remote control anymore.

Yeah, that's how I feel these days.

You look great, Danny. Trust me, it's all worth it. It's all worth it, and you, Susan and I are going to come out and take care of that little munchkin for you.
