B103 Morning Routine Rundown Podcast 03/21Beyoncé officially unveiled the cover art for her new album. The image itself is spectacular, she's sitting side-saddled on a white horse . . . with a red, white, and blue outfit on, holding the American flag. She's also wearing killer white stilettos, a white cowboy hat, and a sash that says "Cowboy Carter". But as impressive as the cover art is, it's her caption of the post that's really making waves. She says, "I feel honored to be the first Black woman with the number one single on the Hot Country Songs chart. My hope is that years from now, the mention of an artist’s race, as it relates to releasing genres of music, will be irrelevant." Beyoncé went on to say, "The album has been over five years in the making and mic drops by saying, "This ain't a country album, this is a Beyoncé album. This is Act 2: COWBOY CARTER, and I am proud to share it with you." It drops next week on March 29th.

Because if there's one thing Hollywood loves more than remakes and reboots, it's FRANCHISES. The original had two sequels that nobody really remembers, in 1990 and 1994. No word on cast or release date
