The former teacher has been writing true crime books for more than 30 years and decided to try her hand at crime fiction. It is a challenging journey and Mark explains how he went about navigating it.

To finish this episode, a blast of summer sports magic from Liam Hauser with his latest creation Cricket World Cup - A Celebration of the ODI and T20 Games (Gelding Street Press). A beautifully presented illustrated history of International Cricket World Cups since 1975. Liam recalls the past champions of the shorter forms of our national summer pastime.
