Australia Post – like other carriers, uses postal networks across the world to get our international products from Australia, to their final destination overseas. Australia Post are part of the Universal Postal Union – known as the UPU, which is a group of 192 countries that was established back in 1874 .
There is currently a global shift to Electronic Advance Data compliance where countries around the world are moving to improve border control and security. It gives customs officials in the destination country all the information they need to complete their inspections.
Australia Post is ensuring that we do what we need, to ensure compliance and to make sure that our customers parcels arrive in a timely manner.
