Carolyn's latest album is a testament to both her ability to infuse traditional jazz elements with a contemporary sensibility drawing inspiration from New Orleans, blues, and boogie-woogie and jazz piano styles, delivering a collection of songs brimming with confidence. This new album followers her critically acclaimed previous albums “Sweet Substitute” and  “There’ll Be Some Changes Made.”

Carolyn Packer has played keyboards and sang as a jazz and blues solo performer and with the legendary Foreday Riders (a University of the Blues alumni), The Jive Bombers, Bridge City jazz Band, Bill Dudley's New Orleanians, Greg Englert’s Swing Cats and many other groups before forming her own group, She is also a member of all female group Bonnie Kay & the Sweet Patooties.

Carolyn Packer’s Stompin’ Rhythm Aces with Carolyn on piano, organ and vocals, Cameron Jones on guitar, Jimmy Lyons on trumpet, Oscar Peterson and David Seidel on bass and Francisco Rojas on drums. A formidable line up of veteran musicians.

The group are popular on the Sydney and Central Coast jazz scene.
