TMG-The Ted Mulry Gang continues today to be a very popular band performing with Ted's brother Steve Mulry fronting the band on vocals, and other band members also doing vocals. They are currently recording a new album.

Ted Mulry, initially as a solo artist, had charting success with his own pop ballad Julia in 1970 then further hits with Falling In Love Again in 1971 and he released two solo albums. He also wrote for other artist such as Sherbet's hit “You're All Woman”. In 1974 he formed his own rock band the Ted Mulry Gang with Herm Kovacs on drums and Les Hall and Gary Dixon on guitars with Ted playing bass. Then the hits continued with 'Jump In My Car', 'Darktown Strutter's Ball', 'Crazy', 'Jamaica Rum' and 'My Little Girl'. They were very popular band around the rock circuit. Ted released another solo album 'This Time' with brother Steve Mulry. In 2001 he announced he had terminal brain cancer and sadly passed away in September 2001. His brother Steve now fronts the band on vocals.

“Ted Mulry Gang TMG Live at the Fairfield Hotel 1982” album sales are fundraising for the Australian Road Crew Association (ARCA), a not-for-profit company dedicated to helping ROADIES during hard times and serious illness through their welfare program. Many artists have generously given their permission for the release of the roadies desk tapes of their live performances that make up a diverse collection of some truly unique historical releases.
