The Durham Project started out with songs written by Alan Blackburn (keys) and Phill Shute (Simmons) (guitar/vocals). They are joined by music scene veterans Ross Johnston (bass) and Pedro Mello (drums, percussion, cajon and vocals), Joey Degiorgio (guitar and vocals).

The new album follows the success of their previous three releases on Big Rock Records that had received national airplay and charting in the Australian Blues & Roots Charts. The Durham Projects performances are getting great reviews and many repeat bookings at the venues were they have played.

The new release and their previous albums are out on the legendary Big Rock Records label.
