Are you across the story about Federal Energy Minister Angus Taylor apparently reading a doctored document in Parliament suggesting Sydney City Council staff were spending stupid amounts of money on travel?

Apparently, the document vastly overestimated the amounts but not the substance of the claim that they’re wasting public money.

Well surprise, surprise, in an attempt to score political points, the Opposition reported it to Police. Isn’t that the waste of resources?

More importantly, they want the Minister to stand down. Of course, they do. What hypocrisy after they protected the likes of Craig Thomson and Sam Dastyari for as long as they did!

What’s more, now they’re making a big deal of the PM calling the NSW Police Minister to enquire about the investigation.

Is this the biggest beat up in political history, or am I missing something?
