The bushfire crisis continues across Australia today with 13 fires in NSW at Emergency Warning level with another 7 at Watch and Act. In Queensland another 4 fires are at Watch and Act level.

Meanwhile, our politicians are engaged in a race to the bottom. We have idiot Greens trying to score points, one seemingly claiming that declaring a “climate emergency” will miraculously put the fires out while another stupidly accuses anyone who disagrees with greens policy and supports coal, of being an “arsonist”. Great rhetoric while people’s homes are burning.

Then we have Barnaby Joyce, who has quite frankly reached his political use by date” suggesting that two people who died were probably Greens voters. 

They’re Muppets, the lot of them.

Meanwhile the government is on track to meet or better the emissions target laid out in the Paris Agreement. A fat lot of good that has done!
