A seventh-grade social studies class at Lake Travis Middle School was disrupted Thursday when intruders took over the virtual lesson to stream a sexually explicit video and use racial slurs. Schools Superintendent Paul Norton said measures are being taken to make the online lessons are more secure, including making sure students are using their confirmed Lake Travis school district account to join the meetings.
