Pan-Asian fusion restaurant 1618 has been rolling out a soft opening for the past few weeks, and this week the restaurant at 1618 E. Riverside Boulevard in East Austin made its opening official. The operation from husband-and-wife team Kevin and Lynn Tran serves a lunch and dinner menu that bounces around Asia with dishes like pad Thai, pho [fuh] and grilled lamb chops. The large restaurant seats 200 and also serves beer, wine and cocktails, including a Secretini made with vodka, lychee, and cucumber juice.
