He is Liverpool’s second longest serving player of all-time – a local lad who came through the academy and then went on to become one of the finest defenders to have ever worn the famous Liverpool shirt. He won two FA Cups, three League Cups, a UEFA Cup and of course the Champions League as well as representing England.
