Audacy is bringing you the world premiere of Lee Brice’s new single, “Drinkin’ Buddies” featuring Nate Smith and Hailey Whitters beginning Friday, April 26 on Audacy Country stations nationwide.

After teasing fans via social media with a clip of the high-energy single featuring Country pals, Nate Smith and Hailey Whitters, Lee Brice is finally sharing his brand-new summer anthem with fans.

“The story behind Drinking buddies is so cool,” he said of the tune, which he knew was a fit from the moment he heard the first verse. “I got pitched this song by a friend, who has pitched me some really great songs in the past. I heard the song and I even stopped it right in the middle of the song and I said, ‘Man, I'm cutting this song,’ and he was like, ‘Well, who would you want to get as the girl on it?’ And I said, ‘What do you mean a girl? Because I hadn't even heard the second verse yet,” he laughed. “It ended up being really the coolest part of the song”

While a very fitting song for Lee, it also adds something fresh with a new take on the typical love or heartbreak song. “The camaraderie between the guys and the girls instead of just a duet or something about love or heartbreak. It turned out so fun,” he shared. “Whenever I got to get Nate on it and [Hailey] on it, man, it just made it came to life. We had a great time shooting the video. We are excited, excited about this.”
