With just two months left of the year-long celebration, The GRAMMYs Salute To 50 Years Of Hip-Hop set to air Sunday, December 10, is the perfect way to close out honoring the profound history and monumental cultural impact that Hip-Hop has made around the world.

The once-in-a-lifetime live concert special that took place at YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California on Wednesday, November 8, featured exclusive performances from Hip-Hop legends and GRAMMY-winning artists.

Reuniting on stage for the first time in years, Will Smith aka The Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff performed their classic hits, ”Brand New Funk," "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It," and “Summertime.” The latter of which had Flavor Flav unable to contain his excitement, surprising Will on stage with a bear hug as he was closing out the track.

Audacy Atlanta’s Greg Street and LL Cool J, both among the legends that took part in the GRAMMY salute,caught up after the show to talk about the evening. “It feels amazing, it feels unbelievable, the stage, the vibe, the energy, the people, y’know my friends, fam, this s*** is crazy, it’s amazing, it’s an amazing feeling.”

Jazzy Jeff spoke to Greg too, saying “This is like a big a** family reunion and I’m just happy to be here.” Will also shared his excitement, noting it was first time he’d been on stage in two years, saying, “I’m hype, I’m ready to go.”

The celebratory conversation continued with contributions from Chuck D of Public Enemy, Doug E. Fresh, 2 Chainz, and De La Soul, all of whom also graced the list of performers. To check it out, press play above.
