Audacy’s Corinna Delgado sat down for a very important Earth Day conversation with The Nature Conservancy CEO Jennifer Morris and Program Coordinator Morgan Foster to talk about the importance of conservation and investment in nature.

All weekend, people nationwide will volunteer their time, energy, and resources to make a difference in their own communities -- picking up trash, planting trees, and cleaning our beaches, but it's not just something that starts and ends with this one weekend.

Morgan, who actually joined the organization after taking part in one of their youth programs, now, along with Jennifer, has made youth outreach a huge priority for The Nature Conservancy.

In fact, this year, they're focused on supporting the next generation of change-makers who are demanding a better future for our planet, leading the way, and celebrating emerging leaders working across the globe to build a better future -- with a focus on changing this world, not just this year, but for the years to come.

With field operations in every single U.S. state, as well as in 77 countries around the world, The Nature Conservancy is the world's largest environmental organization, which as Jennifer detailed is dedicated to two primary things:

“One is to help improve the plight of nature around the world or what we call the biodiversity crisis as well as to combat climate change." Morris explains, “We do that through deep relationships in local communities and all of those places, as well as working with companies and, of course, governments. It actually is something that is very urgent and at one point -- I speak for my generation, which is Generation X -- it perhaps didn't feel that way. But these days, it's definitely a conversation that is going to require all of us.”
