Dan Bakkedahl, known for The Daily Show and Veep, joins hosts Chris Cantore and Noor Razooky to talk about stepping into the role of Wilbur Finletter in Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence, the same role co-creator Steve Peace played in the 1978 original.

Dan shares why he said yes before even asking about the role, how he first watched the original on a pirated Betamax copy split across two tapes, and why his friends laughed at the movie's premise until the real world started looking even sillier. He also opens up about life on an indie set with pipe-and-drape dressing rooms, improvising from The Daily Show to Veep to Organic Intelligence, training at Second City alongside a generation of comedy stars, and the number one rule of improv that changed everything for him. Plus, Noor finally gets him to reveal the joke he almost made about her on set, and Dan plays "Rename the Movie" with a sequel idea that sends the tomatoes somewhere nobody wants to go...

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence is available now to rent or buy on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home, and more.
