Today’s guest is Tim DiFrancesco, Director of TD Athlete Edge and former Los Angles Lakers Head S&C. Tim spent 7 seasons with the Lakers and provides us with a unique behind the scenes of the inner workings of what goes on in the NBA and some of his systems and principles when training the NBA athlete. 

 

In this episode, Tim shares his thoughts and lessons on beginning in the G League to the NBA, being creative on the road when chasing load, getting buy in from athletes that aren’t “big lifters”, how NBA organisations keep S&C coaches accountable, things Tim would do different in today’s changing game style, the key physical qualities of an NBA athlete, his work with the legendary Kobe Bryant, the transition from pro sport to the private sector plus a whole lot more. ore.
