Jason Kiker joins Trent and Patrick on “At Home with Roby”.  Jason graduated from NCSU in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management.  He is the Owner and Managing Principal of Kiker Resource Management, a forestry consulting firm that his father started in 1978, and Owner of Buchanan Shoals Sportsman’s Preserve.  Founded in 2001, Buchanan Shoals is a 5,500-acre hunting club across Anson and Richmond Counties in NC and Chesterfield County in SC.  The club offers hunting for all major wildlife species in the southeast including waterfowl, deer, turkey, quail, and dove.  Jason shares details about his life as a Registered Forester, the club’s history and growth, and how his family is involved in the day-to-day operations.

Ken Pruitt, Founder of Digitrol, joins Trent and Patrick on “At Home with Roby”.  Ken founded the industrial and commercial HVAC services business in 1989.  For 5 years, Ken worked on his own 24 hours a day / 7 days a week and didn’t take a single vacation.  Tune in to learn more about the company’s humble beginnings, its steady growth over the years, Ken’s strong work ethic that he modeled for his son (now President and CEO of the business) and employees, and how he’s enjoying his retirement today.

Jeremy Martin, Founder and Head Coach of Modern Strike, joins Trent and Patrick on “At Home with Roby”.  Before he could walk, Jeremy had a tennis racket in his hand!  Following in his dad’s footsteps, Jeremy started playing in tennis tournaments at age 8 and won his first tournament at 9 years old.  He played through junior ranks, high school and college, and spent 3 years post college traveling the world as a tennis pro.  An elbow injury changed Jeremy’s course, but didn’t take him out of the game completely.  After several years in the corporate world, Jeremy started his own business, Modern Strike, where he specializes in creating professional programs for tennis players of all ages.  Modern Strike offers private or group lessons, corporate outings, youth summer camps and more.  Tune in to meet Jeremy, learn more about his path to Modern Strike, and how the lessons he has learned through the game of tennis translate to his everyday life.
