Thomas Willingham, President of Mint Hill Cabinets, joins Trent and Patrick on “At Home with Roby”.  Mint Hill Cabinets was founded in 1961 by Mr. MC Carriker, a local home builder turned cabinet maker.  One of his first customers was Mr. Andrew Roby who needed a 5’ vanity for a customer.  As they say, the rest is history.  Mint Hill Cabinets and Andrew Roby, Inc. have partnered together on countless projects since that very first meeting over 60 years ago.  Tune in to learn more about the history between the two businesses and the strong, multigenerational friendships developed along the way.

Michael Tall dials in from Sullivan’s Island, SC to join Trent and Patrick on “At Home with Roby”.  Michael’s career in the hotel and hospitality industry started when he was just a teenager cleaning tennis courts at a resort on Hilton Head Island.  This role morphed into snack bar attendant, pool attendant and on up.  Tune in to learn how these roles and early experiences shaped Michael’s road to Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, his first job post-graduation at Rock Resorts in Vail, CO, and the Low Country where he served as President and Co-Owner of Charlestowne Hotels for over 15 years.  Today, Michael serves as Founder and CEO of MWT Consulting where he offers insight and advisory to groups and individuals in the hospitality industry.
