Working with Real Estate Licensees in Wyoming
This seems like a good starting point for our discussions on general real estate topics. Today we will talk about how Wyoming real estate licensees can serve you in a variety of roles as outlined by Wyoming State Statutes. Knowing what you should expect and what your sales person must follow goes a long way in starting a good working relationship.
*Clarification/Correction - A licensed sales agent can work with people in Wyoming as a Buyer or Seller agent, Intermediary, or Customer. There are times when you may start working with someone as one role and need to change. Generally, that would be changing from a Buyer/Seller Agent to an Intermediary. There may be times when a transaction will happen with the buyer and seller being represented within the same brokerage. This is when you may change to a Designated Agent situation in which both parties are assigned different agents within the same brokerage. Whatever way you end up working with a licensed sales agent, just remember you need to understand the duties owed to you by that agent in that particular role.
