India’s lower house parliament have passed a controversial citizenship bill that will give Indian citizenship to immigrants from 3 neighbouring countries only if they are of a certain religious group. 

Dr Aparna Pande from the Hudson Institute and ST India Bureau Chief Nirmala Ganapathy discuss the ramifications of the bill with Asian Insider host Nirmal Ghosh.
