On Arvos with Andy, we had 18-year-old Chukuel Nyan Gatdet. Chukuel, first came to the Arrernte Community Boxing Academy with the simple goal of improving fitness and overall health through boxercise. 

 As he became more involved in the training sessions, he quickly developed a strong interest in boxing and began to recognise the many benefits the sport could offer him, both physically and mentally. Through regular training, Chukuel has built his fitness, strength, confidence and discipline, while also developing a genuine passion for the sport. What initially started as a way to get fit has now grown into a personal goal to challenge himself further and pursue the opportunity to compete as an amateur boxer. 

 Chukuel is now motivated to continue developing his skills, learning the fundamentals of competitive boxing and working towards stepping into the ring for his first amateur bout.
