Aisha is a Japanese-Australian visual artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. She is interested in the intersections of painting and translation and her exhibition is a response to the poetics of spring as found in tanka poetry 🎐
We also had a discussion about NGV's recent winter blockbuster 'French Impressionism: from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston' after our Executive Producer Jen visited the show in its final days.

To begin, Astra will be sharing their thoughts on the film ‘The Menu’ (2022) 🥣 PLUS for a real treat, we will be speaking to Gemma Leslie from @foodforeveryone.aus about her incredible project that pairs artists with chefs all to raise funds for those in need. We end with a discussion focused on the history Dutch Still Life paintings to wrap up the show.
