Hi this is Michael Imperioli,

You probably know me as Chris Moltisanti on the Sopranos or Detective Nick Falco on Law & Order.

But I'm not talking to you today as a character on a TV show or even as an actor or an artist. Today, I'm a New Yorker.

I love this town. I love this neighborhood and this community. 

These last few months have been tough for all of us. It's been tough for me and a lot of people have it tougher than me. 

That's why I'm so pleased to introduce you to Art on the Ave. It's a great opportunity to get out of the house, to stretch your legs, get some fresh air, and bring a bit of life and laughter and soul and sensitivity back to the neighbourhood. 

Some great young artists have produced some exceptional work. It's beautiful, it's inspirational, it's thoughtful and provocative -- and the artists are all here to tell you all about it. 

It's all free, it's all outdoors, it's safe and socially distanced. So grab a mask and get down to the Ave. Enjoy it. Talk about it. Tell your friends and family.
