Notably - Love Compilations
Inspired by Wendy Clarke's Love Tapes, The Love Compilations invites the Castlemaine community to record intimate three-minute reflections on love - forming a collective video artwork capturing a wide spectrum of voices and emotional truths.

For something a little different, head to Wimble Street for a drive-in experience like no other.

CALL OUT Blindside x Liquid Architecture ‘Sound Series’ 2026
For the 2026 Sound Series, Liquid Architecture and Blindside invite proposals from artists seeking curatorial mentorship and financial support to develop and present new work or works-in-progress at Blindside. Selected artists will receive curatorial guidance, a materials and production allowance ($500), and an artist fee ($1,200).
Exhibition dates are Wed 2nd - Sat 26th September 2026.
Artists at all stages of their practice are encouraged to apply with proposals that engage sound and listening in ambitious, experimental, and critically engaged ways.

Oakleigh Photo Walk - Saturday 1 August
Join the Oakleigh Photo Walk to explore a suburb of Melbourne known as ‘Little Greece’. Led by Suzanne Phoenix who has been documenting Melbourne for over 10 years through her unique lens.
Discover Oakleigh, it’s unusual and hidden gems, the old and the new, and street photography photo opportunities. A great chance to visit this lively culinary scene, particularly centered around the bustling Eaton Mall, authentic Mediterranean cafes, and traditional Greek bakeries.
Everyone is welcome no matter whatever camera you have (it can be a smart phone) and any level of photography experience, and discover Oakleigh, or a side of Oakleigh you haven’t seen before. A casual and friendly photo walk at a pace to suit you.
This workshop will run for 2 hours, from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday 1 August 2026 with limited numbers.
Rates: *must be accompanied by an adult.
