A national art prize, presented by Maldon Artist Network and Cascade Art Gallery. Entries are now open for the 2026 Maldon Landscape Prize. First Prize $10,000; Emerging Artist Prize $2,000. An exhibition of finalists’ works will be held at Cascade Art Gallery, Maldon VIC 3463, from Sept 26 to Oct 24. Entries close midnight, Tues June 30, 2026.

The R & M McGivern Prize
The 2025/26 R & M McGivern Prize for painting in oil or watercolour invites artists to address the theme of ‘Atmosphere’. Two $25,000 prizes awarded to the most worthy original paintings.

Sculpture in the Vineyards
$82,000 in non-acquisitive prizes. Sept 12 to 27 (opening night and prizes Sept 12) Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival. Held every two years – where the valley itself becomes the gallery.
