“Primetime” came in a respectable number 4 over the weekend, and critics are singing its praises, earning an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the journalist the movie portrays, former NBC reporter Chris Hansen, is upset, saying the film is a “complete work of fiction.” Hansen goes on to say the movie is “detached from reality or anything I’ve ever experienced.” Hansen is played by actor Robert Pattinson and depicts his role working on “To Catch a Predator” back in 2006, when a potential target  of the show, a Texas prosecutor died by suicide rather than be confronted by the reality show and police.
