Republican Congressman Max Miller from Ohio has just filed a defamation lawsuit against the daughter of Republican Senator Bernie Moreno. Congressman Miller’s divorce from Emily Moreno was finalized last summer, but the custody battle for their 2-year-old has elicited accusations of physical abuse, including Moreno accusing Miller of throwing boiling water on her.  Miller is seeking damages, claiming he has reduced campaign contributions for his re-election bid because of Moreno’s allegations.
