A one hour delay, turned into a three hour ordeal, that ultimately ended in a mistrial. After a judge from the Massachusetts Supreme Court denied the defense’s last-ditch effort for an emergency stay, Judge Sullivan officially declared a mistrial in the Lindsay Clancy triple murder trial. There was no emotion on the faces of Lindsay Clancy, her family, or any of the jurors after the announcement was made, following 40 hours of deliberations and a grueling 5 week trial. There is already a status hearing on the books to prepare for a possible retrial, which the DA has not committed to as of yet, set for the end of the month.
