Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos released two ransom notes from the person authorities believe kidnapped 83-year-old Nancy Guthrie six months ago. The sheriff released them hoping to keep interest alive in the story and hoping that someone may recognize the distinctive patterns of word choice and phraseology. The two notes are chilling, the first one demanding millions of dollars “or she will be killed,” the second one acknowledging that she died shortly after being abducted.
