41-year-old Katie Zacharia will hold her first press conference this week, as President Trump’s new press secretary. Zacharia succeeds Karoline Leavitt who left her position in August after briefly returning from maternity leave, and who has since joined Fox News as an analyst. Zachariah had been a communications adviser to Trump Media and Technology Group, which runs Trump’s Truth Social site. She’s also been a frequent guest on Fox News and Newsman and briefly worked as spokesperson for former DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. Trump, describing her as a “fan” and a MAGA supporter, Zacharia joins a long and growing list of female press secretaries under President Trump.
