On Monday, the prosecution rested its case against the Massachusetts mom who killed her three young children with another digital forensics expert who testified to Lindsay Clancy’s last known resting heart rate, which was recorded at 57 around the time of the murders, suggesting she was calm. The defense began its case shortly afterwards, calling up a former co-worker who testified about what a caring and loving nurse Lindsay was to her patients, and then her sister and mother took the stand. They both described Lindsay’s unraveling demeanor starting in the months leading up to the killings, her mom saying she even warned her and the children’s father, Patrick, that she had thoughts of harming the children.
