It was another contentious day in court that once again, ended abruptly after the state’s rebuttal witness began to testify to children’s inherent “strong will to survive’. The defense immediately objected and, after a sidebar,  the judge told the witness to step down and called it a day for the jury.  This, after defense attorney Kevin Reddington continued to aggressively cross examine the prosecution’s expert witnesses who have testified Clancy was “morally aware” her actions were against the law and that she was NOT in a state of psychosis.
