It was a jaw dropping cross examination that lasted for most the day on Tuesday. Lindsay Clancy’s defense attorney revealed the main psychiatrist treating Lindsay Clancy had only been practicing for one month while claiming to be an expert in postpartum issues. Dr. Jennifer Tufts had to admit that she completed most of her residency during COVID, and that she never once saw Clancy in person until that very day in the courtroom; all of their sessions were via zoom. The defense scored major points tearing apart Dr. Tufts assessment and treatment of Clancy, at one point saying Tufts’ choice of prescription drugs “pushed her over the edge.”
