50 year old Christa Pike remains in the hospital, in critical condition this morning.  Pike’s attorneys say she was chemically tortured, suggesting the drugs went into her arm tissue rather than her bloodstream..  They also have expressed frustration that they haven t been given any sense of her prognosis, but if Pike survives, it will be unprecedented.  Meantime, her victim’s mother, May Martinez is speaking out, frustrated by the botched execution.
