The family of 18-year-old Nolan Wells announced that independent autopsy results list Nolan’s cause of death as “undetermined.” The autopsy, conducted in Washington D.C. and outside the jurisdiction of Mississippi officials, was also unable to determine the time or even day of his death. There were, however, some interesting details, including “red discoloration” on the back of Nolan’s head, but without several organs that were removed during the first autopsy, the pathologist could not rule out foul play, raising more questions as to what happened to the college teen during a Fourth of July weekend of partying with friends.
