Never saw this story coming, but there are additional “clothing checks” happening at the Women’s Tour de France this week. After complaints that some women may be using extra padding in their sports bras for an aerodynamic advantage, race organizers confirmed the new inspections. Who knew, but using padded bras, aka “chest fairing," aka “bra doping," can give riders a few seconds of advantage and is prohibited by the International Cycling Union.
