COVID-19 patients who undergo surgery more likely to die post-operation: study

A new global has found COVID-19 patients who undergo surgery are at increased risk of dying following their surgery. It found patients who underwent surgery had substantially worst outcomes following surgery if they had COVID-19 than if they hadn't.
