General Motors has published details of their contact offer to the UAW that has been dismissed by union president Shawn Fain. CEO Mary Barra released details in a message called "Setting the Record Straight" detailing what the company says are myths being repeated by the union. GM immediately addressed the claims of "poverty wages" being paid and said their offer would increase wages that would have 85-percent of the workforce being paid a base wage of 82-thosuand dollars a year. Including overtime and benefits, those employs would make over 150-thousand dollars a year.
