A proprosal for a disc golf course at Holiday Beach riled up some nature lovers in Essex County - so much so, that the Essex Region Conservation Authority is going to re-evaluate that idea. More than 100 people turned out for an open house this week - most of them in opposition to the disc golf plan. It was proposed as a way to raise revenue for operation of the conservation area on the Lake Erie shore, but there's a lot more to Holiday Beach - and all of the sites protected by ERCA.
