Straight Talk Windsor

Canada Day Edition On Canada Day, one symbol always catches the attention of Windsor residents and visitors alike — the massive Canadian flag now proudly flying in our community. It's more than just a flag; for many, it's a statement about pride, unity, and what it means to be Canadian. Behind the project was a dedicated group of volunteers and supporters who worked tirelessly to make the vision a reality. Peter Hrastovec, one of the leaders behind the initiative talks about how the project came together, the reaction from the community, and why this giant flag has become such a meaningful symbol for Windsor as we celebrate Canada Day. Kyle also talks with Johnny Parks from the Morning X on 89x about moving to a border city and what it means to be Canadian
