No final decisions have been made, but the City of Windsor is looking at other ways of providing 311 service in the future — including outsourcing.
The city says the move is in line with a goal set out in its 2025 budget to achieve savings of $537,000 within the department.
311 is the city's phone line for information, requests and complaints related to municipal services. It operates Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m..The city also has a 311 mobile app.
