Yesterday, Minister Lecce announced that the Refurbishment of Unit 1 at Darlington has been completed five months ahead of schedule. He was joined by OPG leadership as well as some of the 6000 workers who contributed to the project over the past three years. This is critical to our domestic expansion of nuclear, and how this will enable further nuclear expansion in Ontario. This a historic on time and on budget project delivery, in a space where most countries go years & billions over schedule.
