Health Minister Mark Holland gave an update today on the new federal dental-care program, saying more dentists are taking part in it.
    
The government started accepting claims for dental services for those enrolled in the program in May before expanding eligibility requirements.
    
Just under 50 per cent of dental professionals in Canada had signed up to provide care under the program as of last month.
    
However, Holland says that number has since risen to roughly 75 per cent.
