A new study from TransUnion reveals a 39% YoY increase in the rate of suspected fraud attempts for transactions originating from Canada in 2023, ranking Canada as having the 3rd highest increase among 19 countries. More recently, 60% of Canadians said they were targeted with fraud, of which 10% fell victim.
