People living with dementia are targets of social media abuse in nursing homes
Lori La Bey talks with Eilon Caspi a Gerontologist and dementia behavior specialist. He has worked in the aging field for 30 years starting as a nurse aide in a nursing home where his grandfather lived. Since then, he worked as a social worker, educator, consultant, author, applied researcher, and care advocate in long-term care homes. Over the past 18 years, he has led several studies to improve understanding and the prevention of various forms of elder mistreatment in nursing homes and assisted living residences.
