OPEN MIC  Exposes The Truth About Repetitive Phone Calls & A Solution

Today, Kirstin Thomas, Co-founder of KindredMind, joins our host, Lori La Bey, to share their new technology leveraging AI to reduce caregiver stress and increase the comfort of a person living with dementia.

If you are caring for a loved one living with dementia, you most likely have dealt with repetitive behavior at one time or another. Repeated phone calls are one of the things we hear from families constantly, which causes them great stress and guilt. Not having the time to answer and respond to a loved one’s calls or not knowing how to calm them down and remove the anxiety they are feeling over what they keep asking over and over again. Well, it just gets overwhelming.

Yet what we don’t discuss much is what’s behind the need for these repetitive calls. Today, Kirstin will give us some great insights as to the “whys” and a solution, KindredMind, that she created due to her own experience caring for her mother, who would sometimes call her 10 times before lunch.
