Lori La Bey talks with Jill and Phil Pietroburgo. Jill has worked in the fields of mental health and education for 36 years and has written two children’s books. Her first book, Sometimes Grandma Calls Me Jean, honors her mother, who lived with dementia. Her second book will launch soon and is called From Your Hands To My Heart, which can be preordered. Jill also volunteers as a Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association. She and her husband Phil also run a non-profit ministry called Eagles’ Wings Ministries, which is celebrating its tenth year.
Phil Pietroburgo has been married to Jill for 36 years. He has served in public education for 25 years. He is retired as a middle school principal from Willow Springs, MO. Phil continues to serve children and families through a new role as Children’s Pastor at First Baptist Church in West Plains, MO. Phil has been serving as a children’s pastor for 7 years.
