Betts nominated her sister Susan, who suffered a fall and had to undergo intense brain surgery, resulting in five plates in her head.  She hasn’t been able to work since.  Since then, her son and husband both passed away and Susan is struggling to deal with all this and trying to chip away at a mountain of debt.
